Indrop-D

is a high-dose Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) supplement used primarily to treat and prevent severe Vitamin D deficiency. It contains 200,000 IU of Cholecalciferol and can be administered either orally or by intramuscular (IM) injection. 

Primary Medical Uses

• Vitamin D Deficiency Treatment: It is used to quickly restore Vitamin D levels in patients with significant deficiency caused by malabsorption, chronic liver disease, or limited sun exposure.
• Bone Health Management:
  • Rickets: Used to treat weak, soft bones in children.
  • Osteomalacia: Used for the softening of bones in adults.
  • Osteoporosis: Helps maintain bone density and prevent fractures, often in the elderly or postmenopausal women.
• Calcium & Phosphate Regulation: Helps the body absorb calcium and phosphorus, which are essential for strong bones, teeth, and muscle function.
• Hormonal Support: Used to manage hypoparathyroidism (low parathyroid hormone levels) and hypocalcemia (low blood calcium).
