EMKIT DS Tablet

Emkit-DS (Levonorgestrel 1.5 mg)

Emkit-DS is a high-dose, single-administration emergency contraceptive pill designed to prevent pregnancy following unprotected sexual intercourse or the failure of a regular contraceptive method.¹ It contains a higher concentration of Levonorgestrel than the standard formulation to allow for a single-tablet regimen.

• Primary Indication: Emergency contraception to be used within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.⁴

• Administration: A single 1.5 mg tablet taken orally as soon as possible after exposure.

Professional Note: Emkit-DS is most effective when taken within the first 24 hours. It is not an abortifacient and will not interrupt an established pregnancy.
